In the clip, Anthony Kiedis as Johnson Hammerswaddle and Flea as Todd the Squirrel welcome John Frusciante, who reveals that the world tour starts in June 2022, with U.S. dates beginning the next month. Exact dates have not yet been revealed. Watch the video, also featuring drummer Chad Smith as weatherman Randy Raindrops.

Red Hot Chili Peppers announced Frusciante’s return in December 2019. A couple of months later, he performed with the band at a memorial concert for Andrew Burkle put on by the Tony Hawk Foundation.

Frusciante was a member of the Chili Peppers for their 1989 LP Mother’s Milk and 1991’s Blood Sugar Sex Magik. He left the group but returned in 1998, appearing on Californication, By the Way, and Stadium Arcadium before departing again in 2009.
