Ahead of the LP’s release, Musgraves premiered the title track and the song Justified. The run of shows, titled star-crossed: unveiled, begins in January in Saint Paul, Minnesota and runs until late February with a final show in Los Angeles. King Princess and MUNA will open all dates.

The Nashville singer-songwriter will release her new album star-crossed on September 10th. The record arrives with a companion film streaming on Paramount Plus that same day.

Musgraves is set to perform star-crossed at the MTV Video Music Awards on September 12th.

The new cover, which will see all proceeds given to Rock The Vote ahead of the US election on November 3, comes in place of Jack Black and Kyle Gass’ planned US tour, which would’ve taken them through swing states ahead of election time.
