The Furs will perform Made of Rain in its entirety — as well as hits that include “Love My Way” and “Pretty in Pink” — at the Royal Albert Hall in London on May 14th. North American tour dates will be announced in the coming months.
The last album from Psychedelic Furs released almost three decades ago in 1991 with World Outside before the band went on hiatus until 2001. The break allowed core members Richard and Tim Butler explore different avenues with Love Spit Love (and covering “How Soon Is Now?” for the The Craft and the Charmed theme song). The Furs regrouped in the ’00s and have toured intermittently since — and their shows often proved how indelible their classic songs remained. They gained attention with the inclusion of “The Ghost in You” in the second season of Stranger Things and “Love My Way” in Call Me By Your Name.
